There is a way, other than recommending a phone call to your local County Court Clerk, that LRC staff can assist you in determining your State Representative or Senator. If you want to find your legislator AND LEAVE A MESSAGE, please call the Legislator Message Line at 1-800-372-7181. Other helpful sites, in addition to the Secretary of State's web site - http://www.sos.ky.gov/ - are listed below: Kentucky Board of Elections - http://elect.ky.gov/ - you will need to supply your name and birth date; click on Voter Information, then Voter Information Center, at this link - http://cdc.ky.gov/VICWeb/index.jsp. Project Vote Smart - http://vote-smart.org/ provides a list of elected officials and candidates when you provide your 9 digit zip code. There is a link to the U.S. Postal Service's web site that allows you to find the last 4 digits if you don't know them. This link is http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/welcome.jsp, and is available on the Project Vote Smart site. Jefferson County residents, you may go to this site to find candidates in your area and locations to vote - http://www.lojic.org/apps/voter/index.cfm?lojic=yes - when you provide your address information. Fayette County residents - you may go to this site and type in your address information or social security and birth date - http://www.fayettecountyclerk.com/fccweb/links.jsp; to obtain candidate information and voting locations, click on Voter Information - http://www.fayettecountyclerk.com/fccweb/voterInfo.jsp.
