SB 52/FN (BR 488) - J. Denton

     AN ACT relating to a missed appointment fee pilot program for Medicaid patients.
     Require the Cabinet for Health and Family Services to apply for a Medicaid waiver within 90 days for a pilot program permitting health professionals to charge a $25 missed appointment fee; require implementation within 60 days after approval in Jefferson and Lawrence Counties.

SB 52 - AMENDMENTS


     SCS - Retain original provisions, except; specify the cabinet as the Cabinet for Health and Family Services; amend the fee changed to apply for a Medicaid waiver within 90 days for a pilot program permitting health professionals to charge a fee of $10 for a missed appointment; amend to establish that the pilot program will be in Jefferson, Letcher, and Pike Counties.
     SFA (1, J. Denton) - Retain original provisions; amend to establish that health professionals may charge a fee of $10 for a missed appointment after three scheduled appointments have been missed.
     SFA (2, J. Denton) - Retain original provisions, except amend to establish that health professionals may charge a $10 fee for a missed appointment for each missed appointment after the third.
