AN ACT relating to real estate professionals.
Amend KRS 381.280, relating to property forfeitures in the case of unlawful deaths, to remove the requirement that real estate professionals provide advice to the clients on the statute's provisions.
HB 409 - AMENDMENTS
HFA (1, T. Thompson) - Retain original provisions; amend KRS 286.8-020 to provide an exemption to most laws and regulations applicable to mortgage loan companies and brokers for natural persons providing four or fewer mortgage loans per year; amend KRS 286.8-290 to conform. HFA (2/Title, T. Thompson) - Make title amendment. HFA (3, T. Thompson) - Retain original provisions; amend KRS 286.8-020 to provide an exemption to most laws and regulations applicable to mortgage loan companies and brokers for persons providing four or fewer mortgage loans per calendar year; amend KRS 286.8-290 to conform. SCS - Amend to delete provisions requiring professional advice in regard to regulated property transactions.
