AN ACT relating to the Kentucky Center for African-American Heritage.
Create new sections of KRS Chapter 148 to create a Kentucky Center for African-American Heritage; provide for membership, terms, and organization; establish duties and objectives.
SB 64 - AMENDMENTS
SCS - Create new sections of KRS Chapter 148 to create a Kentucky Center for African-American Heritage attached to the Tourism, Arts, and Heritage Cabinet for administrative purposes; provide that the initial board of directors shall be the board of the African-American Heritage Foundation, Inc., the Secretary of the Tourism, Arts, and Heritage Cabinet, and the chair of the African-American Heritage Commission; provide that subsequent boards be comprised of the Secretary of the Tourism, Arts, and Heritage Cabinet, the chair of the African-American Heritage Commission, and 23 additional members appointed by the Governor in accordance with specified criteria; provide for terms and organization; establish duties and objectives.
