     AN ACT relating to healthy children.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 158 to require all public preschool to eighth grade programs no later than the 2008-2009 school year to implement 30 minutes per day or 150 minutes per week of structured moderate to vigorous physical activity per week in a minimum of 10 minute intervals incorporated into the school day; permit the physical activity to include a combination of classroom based physical activity, structured recess, and other structured physical activities; require the Kentucky Board of Education to promulgate administrative regulations to implement the physical activity requirement.
