HB 180 (BR 362) - E. Ballard, T. Edmonds

     AN ACT relating to charitable gaming.
     Amend KRS 238.520 to include two veterans' organization representatives on the charitable gaming advisory commission; amend KRS 238.535 to allow veterans' organizations who hold charitable gaming licenses to conduct charitable gaming activities at veterans-related events like conferences and conventions outside of the county of residence; amend KRS 238.540 to allow the use of pulltab dispensers at charitable gaming locations.

HB 180 - AMENDMENTS


     HCS - Retain original provision, except delete language permitting a charitable organization to use electronic or non-electronic pulltab dispensers.

     HFA (1, E. Ballard) - Amend to include representation from Catholic organizations in Charitable Gaming Advisory Commission membership; provide clarifying language to permit charitable gaming activities outside of organizations' county of residence.

     HFA (2, M. Marzian) - Amend Section 1 to increase Charitable Gaming Advisory Commission membership from 9 to 11; include representation from Catholic charities and volunteer firefighter organizations; increase quorum from 5 to 6 members.
