SB 122 (BR 1645) - R. Sanders Jr
AN ACT relating to the registration of trailers, and declaring an emergency.
Amend KRS 186.675 to exempt trailers, semitrailers and travel trailers being transported under contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency from the provisions of KRS 186.650 to 186.700 relating to the registration of trailers.
SB 122 - AMENDMENTS
SCS - Delete provisions of the original bill; create a new section of KRS Chapter 227 to require that all recreational vehicles and park trailers sold, leased, or offered for sale by a retailer to a consumer in the state are constructed in accordance with the most recent American National Standard Institute standards; amend various sections of KRS Chapter 227 to delete references to the Recreational Vehicle Certification and Licensure Board and references to recreational vehicles under the provisions of the chapter; repeal KRS 227.565.
SCA (1/Title, B. Guthrie) - Make title amendment.
HFA (1, R. Wilkey) - Amend KRS 227.550 to delete the reference to the Recreational Vehicle Certification and Licensure Board; amend KRS 227.590 to delete the authority of the board to regulate recreational vehicle shows in the Commonwealth; amend KRS 227.620 to establish a fee of $25 for a Class B seal and require the office of the state fire marshal to provide the application for the seal and the seal.
