908 KAR 3:150. Policies and procedures of Western State Hospital VOLTA Program.

      STATUTORY AUTHORITY: KRS 202A.196, 202B.060, 210.010, 210.040, 210.055, 210.285, 42 C.F.R. 440-489, EO 2004-726

      NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: EO 2004-726, effective July 9, 2004, created the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and placed the Department for Mental Health and Mental Retardation within the cabinet. KRS 210.010, relating to the hospitalization of mentally ill and mentally retarded persons, directs that the Secretary for the Cabinet for Health and Family Services shall adopt rules and regulations which insure proper administration and enforcement of these policies.

 

      Section 1. Policies and procedures of Western State Hospital VOLTA Program as set forth in the September 15, 1989, edition of the Western State Hospital VOLTA Program policy and procedures manual consisting of one (1) volume relating to the operation of Western State Hospital VOLTA Program are incorporated by reference.

 

      Section 2. The policies and procedures of Western State Hospital VOLTA Program are contained in one (1) volume with of 100 pages. They are available for inspection and copy at the office of the Commissioner of the Department for Mental Health and Mental Retardation Services, 275 East Main Street, Frankfort, Kentucky 40621, and in the office of the Director of the VOLTA Program, Western State Hospital, P.O.
