      RELATES TO: KRS Chapter 318

      STATUTORY AUTHORITY: KRS 318.130

      NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: KRS 318.130 requires the department, after review by the State Plumbing Code Committee, to promulgate an administrative regulation establishing the Kentucky State Plumbing Code to regulate plumbing, including the sizes of waste piping. This administrative regulation establishes the minimum size of waste piping required for certain fixtures.

 

      Section 1. The minimum size (nominal inside diameter) of traps, soil, or waste branches for a given fixture shall not be less than that established in the following table:
