      STATUTORY AUTHORITY: KRS Chapter 13A

      NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: This administrative regulation prescribes rules for the retention of records required to be maintained by cigarette dealers licensed under KRS 138.195.

      Section 1. Copies of all documents, prepared or received by any person licensed under KRS 138.195, relative to the receipt and distribution of, or trafficking in, stamped or unstamped cigarettes shall be preserved by the licensee on the immediate premises of his place of business for a period of two (2) years. The records of all licensees shall be available during this period of time for inspection by agents of the Department of Revenue. (CT-32; 1 Ky.R. 333; eff. 2-5-75; Tam eff. 5-20-09.)
