31 KAR 4:020. Election costs, county clerk reimbursement and form.

STATUTORY AUTHORITY: KRS 117.015(1), 117.343
NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: KRS 117.343 provides that a county clerk may be reimbursed by the State Board of Elections for the costs of employing personnel necessary for the conduct of elections, registration of voters, and purgation of voters. This administrative regulation is necessary to provide a method and form for a county clerk to request reimbursement for these costs.
Section 1. Reimbursement shall be based on the number of registered voters for the general election held in November.
Section 2. Incorporation by Reference. (1) DOA-48, (April 1997 Edition), State Board of Elections, is incorporated by reference.
