Employee photo Meet David Fleming. Research and writing often go together at LRC, and Fleming has years of experience with both. The legislative proofreader honed his research and writing skills for 15 years as a paralegal in the areas of toxic tort and general litigation, workers compensation and more. After coming to LRC in 2005 to work in the Project Center, the Ashland native eventually moved to his current job which he said harkens to his days in the legal profession. “My background helps me in my current position by giving me good writing skills, research skills, and with fact checking,” he said. “The thing I enjoy most about my job is the people who I work with. LRC is a great place to work. Having said that, I do enjoy public service.” David is a graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and attended the University of Kentucky before graduating from Morehead State. When he’s not at LRC, he enjoys many hobbies including photography, reading, antique cars and amateur radio. He is also involved in his church and Kentucky Freemasonry.
