AN ACT relating to crimes and punishments.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 527 to create the crime of fraudulent firearm transaction when a person fraudulently informs a firearms dealer or a private person that the proposed firearms transaction is illegal when it is legal or that is legal when it is illegal; exempt peace officers acting in the line of duty; make violation of this section a Class D felony.
