AN ACT relating to tax increment financing.
Amend KRS 65.7043, 65.7045, 65.7049, and 154.30-060 to expand the application of the tax increment financing provisions to mixed-use development projects located in a research park owned by a public university, and to projects that are within three miles of a military base; amend KRS 65. 7051 and 65.7053 to conform.

SCS - Retain original provisions; amend KRS 154.30-010 to extend the activation date allowed for signature tax increment financing projects that were approved by January 1, 2008 but not yet activated to anytime within ten years of the original project commencement date; apply the extension retroactively to qualifying agreements.
